Our Core Values

In the pursuit of our vision, we seek to highlight four disciple-making values that we believe will lead people to fulfill the mission of making followers of Jesus.

We will foster a welcoming environment using the resources God has blessed us with in innovative ways.  With each interaction, we will intentionally make meaningful connections, building long lasting relationships.

John 13:34-35 (ESV): “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.  35By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

With the goal of deepening every person’s relationship with Jesus Christ, we will equip our church body based upon God’s Word to model Christ at home, at work, and throughout our communities.

Colossians 2:6-7 (ESV): “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

Following Christ’s example, we will lovingly engage with our immediate and surrounding communities by building trusting relationships and establishing a positive influence.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will enthusiastically embrace our communities by serving others.  We will set no limits on where God leads us to serve in His Name.

Mark 10:43-45 (ESV): “But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 44and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. 45For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

We will live as Jesus’ followers, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and sent to minister where God calls us to bring the light of Christ.

Acts 1:8 (ESV): “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
