Mission & Vision

MISSION

The Church’s mission defines our identity.  The mission answers the question “why does our Church exist?”  Our mission is timeless. In Matthew 28:19-20, the Bible clearly states the unchanging mission of the Church:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

The Bible affirms that our mission is to make followers of Jesus who in turn make more followers of Jesus.

VISION

A vision is a clear picture of the future for the Church as we believe it can and must be.  The vision answers the question “where is our Church going?”. In other words, the vision is a picture of the Church as it fulfills the mission.  Together, we envision a body of believers who focus on Glorifying God, Loving People and Transforming Lives.  More specifically, our vision is:

“We will work together to discover a deeper love for God by becoming a more welcoming community focused on being relevant so that we intentionally impact our neighbors and the world with the gospel.”
